7.19.2008 - Easter Seals' Walk - walk that provides hope, help and greater independence for people with disabilities.
7.19.2008 - 5K Charity Walk - The North Shore and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail come alive with proceeds benefitting the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh and Activate Pittsburgh initiatives to educate and fight against obesity and to the Friends of the Riverfront for continued stewardship and development of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail.
7.20.2008 - Triathlon & Adventure Race - Olympic distance Triathlon (swim-bike-run) and sprint distance Adventure Race (kayak-bike-run) will be held on the North Shore Riverfront Park. The Olympic distance Triathlon is the Pennsylvania Qualifying Race for the 2008 Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Riverfront.
